We presented a trunk show at the Twilight Quilting Guild of Norfolk County on Oct 19 2009.  The location is OMAFRA Auditorium 1283 Blue Line, Simcoe, Ontario. We had a lot of fun at their meeting.

Sherri Hisey
We had a workshop presented by Sherri Hisey from Border Creek Station
Pattern Company.  It was held at the New Tec Recreational Centre April 4 2009.  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Sherri presented a great technique class and while all of the participants were very accomplished quilters and some of them award winners they all learned something.  It was a heart warming and informative workshop.  They are looking forward to Sherri's new pattern which will be featured at the upcoming Creative Festival.  Limited amounts of kits are available and once they are gone they are gone!

PLACEMAT CHALLENGE
The quilters have met the challenge.  Thank you to all that participated.  We have collected 48 beautiful place mats and 18 napkins!

Our First Food Drive
A huge thank you to all that supported the Good Shepard Food Bank.  Here is a picture of what we collected in food items.  In addition to the food, with the help of S C Quilter we also have $413.40 to give to the food bank.  WOW!
