Past Events
We presented a trunk show at the Twilight
Quilting Guild of Norfolk County on Oct 19 2009. The location is OMAFRA Auditorium 1283 Blue Line, Simcoe, Ontario.
We had a lot of fun at their meeting.

Autumn Splendor Quilt Show at the
Silver Spire United Church, 366 St. Paul St. St. Catharines Ont. on Oct
2 and 3. 2009. |
Royal Botanical Gardens Show
April 24 - April 26 2009 We were at the Royal Botanical Gardens Show
in Burlington, near Hamilton.
Sherri Hisey
We had a workshop presented by Sherri Hisey from
Border Creek
Station Pattern Company. It was
held at the New Tec Recreational Centre April 4 2009. 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. Sherri
presented a great technique class and while all of the participants
were very accomplished quilters and some of them award winners they all
learned something. It was a heart warming and informative workshop. They
are looking forward to Sherri's new pattern which will be featured at the
upcoming Creative Festival. Limited amounts of
kits are available and once they are gone they are gone!
PLACEMAT CHALLENGE
The quilters have met the challenge. Thank
you to all that participated. We have collected 48 beautiful place mats and
18 napkins!

Our First Food Drive
A huge thank you to all that supported the Good Shepard Food Bank.
Here is a picture of what we collected in food items. In addition to the
food, with the help of S C Quilter we also have $413.40 to give to the food
bank. WOW!

 Janet Rice-Bredin was in
Alliston and presented a trunk show in on
Oct. 31st 2008 and on Nov. 1st
2008 for
a full day workshop to create a small quilt of her design but of your
choice. This very special event was held at
the New Tecumseth Recreational Centre 7300
Industrial Parkway. We have a large selection of her patterns in the shop and
also now on our
online web

the artist and her patterns. Participants left with a skip in their
